How To Make Your Skincare Routine Easy In The Morning?

Keep your skincare routine short and simple!

Doing skincare in the morning sucks, especially when you have neither time nor energy. Simply getting out of bed is a chore, and maintaining a skincare routine above that seems like a challenge.

"Beautiful skin requires commitment, not a miracle." - Erno Laszlo.

Manage your skin like you manage your health—It would be easier than only. You do not overstuff your body with different products. What you want in skincare is to cleanse, nourish and protect.
Here are 4 Sure-Fire ways to keep your routine short in the morning.

★ To Cleanse

Gunk, oil, and dust build-up on your skin when you sleep. So cleaning your skin when you wake up is the first important step in your routine. There are different types of cleansers available in the stores these days, like oil-based, cream, or foam. Choose what is suitable for your skin type, and remember that fragrance-free cleansers should be your top priority. My recommendation for a good cleanser is from Cerave, as they have a variety for different skin types. If you have dry skin, go for hydrating cleansers consisting of ceramides or hyaluronic acid, and light exfoliating cleansers for oily skin. You can also cleanse your face two times-It can be the same cleanser, or another type of cleanser can be used.

To Tone

Toner is the perfect way to calm your skin and removes impurities. Like if you have dull skin, toners with niacinamide would be beneficial. Individuals with oily skin can go for light exfoliating toners, hydrating toners, or cream-based toners for dry skin. Some individuals can also skip this part if they want.

It is advisable to not use high concentration-based serums like Vitamin C in the morning. Serums are to be used in your night routine as there is a risk they could be harmful in the daylight. Toners are the perfect way to remove the leftover dirt that is not cleansed by the cleanser, and it doesn't strip the moisture from your skin. It also helps prevent blackheads, and some toners can even help minimize pores.

To Moisturize

For moisturizers, the main goal is to provide extra nourishment to your skin but also help lock in all the moisture. Moisturizing helps prevent drying of the skin and calm the skin. According to a study conducted, moisturizers help in soothing irritated skin and speeding the recovery of damaged skin barriers.

Anti-aging, blemishes, brightening, wrinkles, and discoloration can also be prevented and targeted during this step. Since many types of moisturizers are available in the market, you can choose according to your issue or skin type. Only avoid moisturizers that have fragrances in them.

To Protect

The last step is protection for your skin, and sunscreen is the best way one can protect their skin and prevent skin cancer. It protects you from the sun's rays and is anti-aging. Approximately 92,000 melanoma and 2,750,000 non-melanoma skin cancer cases arise annually. You must never skip this step. Sunscreen has to be applied every two hours, and it should have a broad spectrum of 30 or above. Follow the "2 finger method" to apply sunscreen. Sunscreen is something that one should splurge on and buy from good brands. Korean and Japanese sunscreens are very popular in the beauty industry. Tinted sunscreens are also available in the market, so now you can also save time on makeup.

It is not necessary to follow a 15-step skincare routine. You can have a basic regimen but also be able to make it work. You only need to focus on what your skin needs and invest in good products
