A beginner's guide to constructing a vision board | buzztribe news

Specific and firm vision can't let you sleep. Clear all the ambiguities and set your final accomplishment, make a route map that will help you to achieve it. It can be in any form as per your will:

  • A whiteboard with the detailing of every task
  • A paper with pictures of your planning task
  • Collection of screenshots of important task
  • Sketches of your tasks(if you are good at sketching)
  • Simple enlisting of different task

2. Project selection

The next step after setting the vision is the product or project selection. This is indeed a very important yet challenging task. For the selection of products here are some tips for you;

  • As a starter try to keep the project simple and inexpensive, it will decrease the chances of failure and make you more confident for your next project.
  • Put your all efforts to be creative, and don't try to imitate anyone.
  • Select the product as per your interest, it will be more engaging for you. if you love plants start with making flowering pots, likewise if you are fond of reading try making a bookshelf tutorial.
  • Make sure you have all the necessary tools and stock available for project making.
  • Before product selection collects in-depth knowledge of your project by using all the available resources like magazines, books, and the Internet.

3. Scriptwriting

To minimize the chances of errors you should write every step, and make a complete script of your tutorial. The following points will be helpful for you,

  • keep it simple
  • write in a conversational way
  • Avoid using complex words
  • Get the feedback from a trustworthy person

4. Practicing

Before filming the tutorial you should practice as many times as you can not in front of a mirror but front of your reliable friend.

5. Open arms for mistakes

we learn from our own mistakes, if we do mistakes it means we are improving. Don't quit if you face failure just do it in another way, and you will have a new window to see.

6. Film the video

Find a quiet place at your home to film the video. while recording if you make any mistake just stop! and start again where you made the mistake, this can be edited in last. As a beginner use low-priced and easy-to-handle tools.

The tools that you will be needed are:

  • A camera or a smartphone
  • A tripod
  • A microphone with good sound

While recording speaks through your actions don't tell what you are doing, like don't say, open the door take out the outfit and close the cupboard.

7. Share

Now it's the time to show your work. Share your video on different platforms and wait for feedback.

We all have tried DIY tutorials at least once in our lifetime, and it has also resulted in great. People who are making these amazing videos put a lot of their hard work into it. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc are full of these videos and we all really enjoy watching them.

I hope the above tips may help you if you also want to become a DIY tutor!!
